 Age Requirement

Adventure Club Age: 7 - 12
If Teen Escape is not offered, 13-15 yr olds may be booked in Adventure Club

  • A child may be moved down to a lower-age program only if he/she is a year or less older than the maximum program age
  • We reserve the right to move children to the appropriate ability zone and program based on their skill level or if it is determined that the child's date of birth has been incorrectly stated

8:30 - 9:15 a.m. Early drop-off (optional) Children’s Center Northside Room, SNO, class leaves room at 10 a.m.
9:45 - 10:00 a.m. Drop-off
  • First-time to beginner: Bottom of Wide West ski run, SNO
  • Other abilities: Top of Wide West ski run, SNO (via Snowflake lift)
10:00 a.m. Start of Lesson Classes are formed.
Instructors put green information tags on students' helmets.
Classes start skiing.
11:30 a.m. Lunch Break #1 Location: Children's Center Adventure Room, SNO, Silver Lake Lodge, or Empire Lodge, upper floor
Instructors will start completing progress cards.
12:15 p.m. Lunch Break #2 (optional) Location: Children's Center Adventure Room, SNO, Silver Lake Lodge, or Empire Lodge, upper floor
Second lunch shift during busy times.
2:00 p.m. Snack Break Location: Children's Center Adventure Room, SNO or Silver Lake Lodge or Empire Lodge, upper floor
Arrive for hot chocolate break (20-30 min maximum). Instructor will complete progress cards. Empire Pass children to be picked up at appropriate hot cocoa location.
3:45 p.m. End of Lesson, pick-up

Pick-up location: On the snow at bottom of Wide West run, SNO.
Parent/Guardian must give his/her name and a security code.

    Instructor will check each skier's lesson ticket to ensure they're given the correct snack option
  • Alternatives: Participants can bring their own lunch if preferred (nut-free environment)

 Lift Ride Policy

All first-time riders should ride with a ski instructor, instructor assistant, or a willing adult.
Children may ride alone when they know the safety rules, act responsibly, and can independently load and unload

Gondola policy: Adventure Club classes may load up to four (4) persons on the gondola, including instructor, in a single car. Additional students must ride with a willing adult.

NOTE: A child is ready to ride the beginner chairlifts, Burns Express and Snowflake, either alone or with a willing adult when the student has had adequate time on conveyor lift and can demonstrate the following:

  • Come to a complete stop in a wedge
  • Control speed in gliding wedge
  • Can turn both directions
  • Can control speed through turn shape
  • Demonstrate and verbally repeat chairlift safety rules

 Instructor & Grouping Requests

Instructor Requests: We are not able to honor requests for specific instructors in a group lesson

Grouping Requests: We cannot guarantee placement in group lessons with friends or relatives. To ensure a quality experience, we must form classes based on age and ability zone

 Lift Ticket Policy

Lift tickets are required for every skier or lesson participant. Lift tickets are not included with any lessons or rentals.

 Reservation Policy

A paid reservation and valid credit card on file are required to guarantee any Skier Services product. The full amount for Skier Services products is charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking. Each family must have their own file and children must be booked under their parent or guardian's name to ensure accuracy, security, and privacy for our guests

 Change, Cancellation and No-Show Policy

If you need to cancel or change a reservation, you must call or speak directly with a Skier Services agent before 5 p.m. two (2) days prior to each booked date in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations or changes made one day prior to the first day will receive a partial refund.

  • No refund for same-day cancellations or no-shows
  • Weather and snow conditions are not viable reasons for cancellation
  • Appropriate fees will apply to lessons canceled after the deadline

Cancel Fee for Adventure Club: 125.00

NO overnight ski storage available in the Children's Center for the Adventure Club program. Advise guests to use:

The following discounts may be applied to Adventure Club:

Children's Specialty Program Bounce Back Discount

  • Eligibility: Youth, age 3-12, who participated in a 2024-25 CSSE program
  • Discount amount = 50%
  • Bounce Back Details: Eligible for three additional, age-appropriate lesson during the season
  • Blackout dates: TBD
  • Confirm CSSE enrollment via DVSS and then book at discounted price
  • Subject to availability
